Virtual Emergency Relief Centre

At this stage, Council does not intend on opening a physical Emergency Relief Centre. If you require support, please utilise the following information.

If you can, seek assistance through family and friends.

Ensure you have the Vic Emergency App on your phone, and/or the website saved in your internet browser

Need for food, water or shelter

If you have been impacted by the severe weather and/or power outages, and require immediate food, water or shelter you can register online and Council's Emergency Management Team will be in contact.

Red Cross - Register. Find. Reunite

This is a service that registers, finds and reunites family, friends and loved ones after an emergency. Use Register to let people know you are safe, and Find to look for people you know may be affected by an emergency. Reunite is a matching process that enables the Red Cross, with permission to share details, to connect family, friends and loved ones. To start this process, register online.

Department of Families, Fairness and Housing - Personal Hardship Assistance Program

This program provides assistance to people experiencing financial hardship because of a single house fire or a natural disaster related emergency such as bushfire, flood, sever storm or earthquake. To apply for the program, register here.
