Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve, Wonthaggi
Council appointed Mainmark Pty Ltd to carry out underpinning works at the Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve (formerly Rovers) Pavilion.
The underpinning works involved an injection grouting to stabilise existing concrete foundations of the building. Injection grouting is a structural resin which is primarily used on voids or cracks that appear on masonry, concrete or stone. This will stabilise the ground movement to prevent further settlement to the foundations.
These works were funded by Council in the order of $55,000 and have been completed.
