Inverloch Boat Ramp Carpark - Pavement and Kerb Renewal Works

We wish to advise that the Infrastructure Delivery team has appointed contractors Wiltrack Earthmoving and A1 Asphalting to carry out carpark renewal works within the Inverloch Boat Ramp area. See plan attached below.

Construction works will begin the week of 19 August 2019 and are anticipated to be completed within 4 weeks, subject to contractors availability and weather permitting. These works are being carried out under Council annual supply contracts for plant, labour and materials and asphalt as a part of Council’s adopted 2019-20 Capital Works Program. This $145,000 project is fully funded by Council. The renewal of this section of the Inverloch Boat Ramp carpark ensures that Council's road network is sustainable and be able to continue to provide appropriate levels of service for road users well into the future.

Works will involve:

  • installation of new kerb and channel
  • drainage pit works
  • road pavement renewal,
  • asphalt overlay and linemarking.

This section of the carpark will be closed to the public for the duration of these works. We acknowledge that it can be a challenge to deliver the necessary works without affecting car park users, especially when much of the work is determined by weather conditions and the availability of contractors. We appreciated that these works may present an inconvenience and we ask for patience during these times. Our contractors will make every effort to minimise disruptions during construction.
