Service changes due to COVID-19

The Acting Premier announced an easing of restrictions for regional Victoria from Friday, 4 June.

  • There are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home but staying COVIDSafe remains important.
  • You can have up to two adults visit your home per day.
  • Face masks are mandatory indoors, and outdoors where you cannot maintain 1.5m from others.
  • If you have any symptoms, no matter how mild you must get tested for COVID-19

Service Changes

Customer/Visitor Services

Face-to-face Customer Services and Visitor Services have resumed at Wonthaggi, Cowes, Inverloch, Newhaven and Grantville, from 10.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. The Team is also contactable via phone, email and online channels between 8.30am and 5.00pm.

Leisure Facilities

All indoor sporting facilities are now open.

Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre

The Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre and the Wonthaggi Theatrical Group (WTG) are pleased to confirm that the remaining scheduled performances of Mamma Mia! will go ahead, but with limitations. Waste Services

Our waste facilities remain open and Kerbside waste collections are operating as normal.
