Holiday Home Registration
If you own a holiday home in Bass Coast that is let out for paid holiday accommodation and can accommodate six or more people, under the regulations in the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, your property is classified as 'Prescribed Accommodation' and by law it must be registered.
Registrations are valid for a calendar year (1 January to 31 December) and must be renewed annually.
We have put together a Holiday House Information Pack (PDF 966kb) to provide you with more information and an explanation of what is required.
To register your property, you will need to:
- Fill in a Holiday House Registration Form (PDF 582kb);
- Pay a registration fee; and
- Provide a basic floor plan of your property, including the dimensions of the rooms and the number of people who can be accommodated.
