Tickets/Permits
As of the 1 July 2019, it is no longer a requirement to purchase a ticket or a permit for Council managed boat ramps. Please ensure to obey all signage for parking.
Boat Ramp Ticket Refunds
Council will provide a refund to annual boat ramp ticket holders who request a refund on the presentation of their valid ticket at the Wonthaggi Civic Centre.
The refunds are being provided in response to the State Government’s announcement to abolish boat ramp fees as of 1 July 2019. Council did not sell annual tickets after 4 February 2019.
The refund values have been determined taking into account the fee paid, the time of use prior to fees being abolished and the ongoing costs to Council for the maintenance of boating facilities.
Tickets Purchased - 01/07/2018 to 30/09/2018 – no refund
Tickets Purchased - 01/10/2018 to 31/12/2018 - $17.50 ($8.75 purchased with pensioner discount)
Tickets Purchased - 01/01/2019 to 04/02/2019 - $35.00 ($17.50 purchased with pensioner discount)
Refunds will be processed and deposited directly into bank account, as Council does not have the facility to provide on the spot refunds for such transactions. For more information contact Councils Customer Service team on 1300 BCOAST (226 278) for standard call cost.
