The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will make its triumphant return to Phillip Island in 2022.
Well-known as a favourite amongst riders, the fast-flowing Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will once again set the stage for a thrilling weekend, as teams push their machines to the limit.
What’s happening off track and in Cowes
Phillip Island is the place to be after an action packed day at the MotoGP. Cowes will come alive with live bands and race highlights that you'll find on the superscreen and stage, plus extended outdoor licensed area at the bottom of Thompson Ave in Cowes.

Bass Coast Shire residents will once again receive free Island Pass (formally known a General Admission ticket) for Friday 14 October 2022. Present your proof of residency of the Gate 1 Ticket Office on Friday, 14 October 2022 to receive your complimentary Island Pass.
We are working with Australian Grand Prix Corporation in the lead up to the MotoGP. The ongoing wet weather has led the Australian Grand Prix Corporation to cancel some camping options for the event. The Blue Line will be in operation on Phillip Island Road between Back Beach Road and the Bass Highway merge on Sunday, 16 October 2022 (From 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm approximately).
The Blue line adds an additional lane of traffic for vehicles exiting Phillip Island by utilising the emergency lane.

Thursday 13, Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October: 3.30pm – 12.00am
Thompson Ave closed from Chapel St to The Esplanade.
The Esplanade closed from Warley Ave to Thompson Ave.
Saturday 15 October: 10.30am – 3.30pm
Thompson Ave closed from Chapel St to The Esplanade.
The Esplanade closed from Warley Ave to Bass Ave.
All closures are subject to change depending on crowd numbers and traffic conditions.
The aerial display this year will be performed by The Red Bull aerobatic team from 1.25pm to 1.35pm (10 mins)
