Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre
** Important Public Notice **
The health and safety of our community, customers and staff is our number one priority during the current novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
As part of our response to help prevent the spread of the virus, all Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre performances, cinema screenings and events scheduled to take place over the coming weeks have been cancelled or postponed.
At this stage, the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre will be closed until further notice. We are currently working with producers to see if shows in the coming months can be rescheduled and we will advise ticket holders as soon as we know more.
If you are unable to attend a rescheduled show, a refund will be offered.
We would like to hear from you!
As part of our planning for the coming months, we would love to hear from you about your feelings towards attending live events, concerts, performances or cinema as restrictions begin to ease across the state.
This will help us to make informed decisions for the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre and what returning to 'normal' will look like.
We have created a very short survey (because your time is precious) and we thank you in advance for completing this to help us gather key information specific to you - our community.
Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre Website
We are excited to announce the launch of our new website specifically to feature the events and cinema sessions held at the Arts Centre.
This website is designed to keep you up to date with everything going so that you can easily plan your next visit.
The Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre is Bass Coast's major entertainment venue.
We are home to live performances of theatre, music, comedy and dance, cinema screenings of new and recent release, fine and international film as well as community group events and fundraisers.
Our website features a calendar of all our upcoming shows and films. If you're interested in buying tickets to one of our shows, you can visit our TryBooking site here or for all of our cinema sessions, tickets will be available for purchase at the kiosk on the day of your preferred session.
We manage the Centre's cinema. This includes mainstream and new release films shown throughout the school holidays, with fine and independent films being screened throughout the year. For upcoming session times, please head over to our website for more details on what is coming soon.
