Singing is fun but it also provides many health benefits. It increases your heart rate and lung capacity, improves your posture,lightens your mood and promotes mental and physical fitness. Singing helps us to relax and assists with stress-relief management. Singing connects us with our emotions and singing in a group helps us to join with others, providing a sense of community and improved well-being.
All of this can be found in the Sing for Fun group which meets on the second and last Wednesday of every month at 7.00pm at Mitchell House. Come along, bring your voice, your sense of fun and any songs you would like to share. Cost $4.00 Members or $6.00 Non-members.
