Latrobe Community Health Service
Contacts
Latrobe Community Health Service is an auspice of the Community Visitor Scheme (CVS), an initiative funded by the Australian Government.
CVS Volunteers visit residents in Aged Care facilities or in their own homes across Australia. Volunteers enrich the resident’s quality of life by providing companionship, friendship and reduce the effects of isolation by helping them remain connected to their community. Volunteers must undergo a national police check, receive orientation training and ongoing support. Volunteer visitors may share stories, go for a stroll, listen to music, work on a common hobby or craft, reminisce or play a game. Visits take place for one to two hours every other week on a consistent basis to foster a genuine relationship as they value your friendship.
We are seeking CVS volunteers in Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Philip Island, Warragul, Drouin, Morwell, Bairnsdale, Sale and Lakes Entrance. Become a community visitor volunteer. Be the reason why someone smiles today!
