Healthy Communities Grants - open now!

Applications for funding of up to $2,000 are invited from not-for-profit community organisations and groups to implement a project or initiative that aligns with the Bass Coast Shire Council Healthy Communities Plan 2021-2025.

There are four priority areas a project or initiative can focus on:

  • Creating Healthy Lifestyles,
  • Improving Mental Wellbeing,
  • Supporting Affordable Housing, and
  • Improving Equity

Grants are open for applications from Monday, 15 May until Friday, 30 June 2023.

Funding is limited and priority will be given to applications that demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting and improving health and wellbeing of the Bass Coast community.

You are encouraged to speak to Council's Community Wellbeing Officer prior to submitting an application. Further information regarding the grants, and examples of relevant projects and events, can be found in the Healthy Communities Grant Guidelines.
