Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent qualification.
  • Current VIT registration.
  • Approved First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training.
  • Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting Training.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Learning Frameworks.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Guide the implementation of 3-year-old Kindergarten program with a focus on individual learning needs.
  • Flair for engagement with children and adaptive and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Exceptional supervision standards and commitment to maintaining a child safe environment.
  • Provision of a family-orientated nurturing environment for all children and their families.
  • Ability to nurture reciprocal relationships with families and build on community partnerships to encourage children's identity and agency.
  • Commitment to sustainability and the benefits of play within natural environments.
  • Commitment to best practice standards and professional development.

YMCA Ballarat is an Early Years Manager offering education and care to children enrolled at our 85 Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres throughout Victoria. We have 3 services in Bass Coast Shire located in Inverloch (1) and Wonthaggi (2).
