Business and Community Resilience Grants Program

Council's $700,000 Business and Community Resilience Grants Program is now closed for assessment.

Assessment of Applications

Applications will be checked for eligibility and Council Officers will undertake an initial assessment of applications.

A summary of all assessments will be provided to the Bass Coast Community Leadership Recovery Group (BCCLRG), which includes all Councillors, for approval.

Due to the large number of applications received, assessments are still underway. We are hopeful of advising successful, and unsuccessful, applicants for Round 1 in the first week of July.

Payments will commence following notification.

Payment

Successful applicants will be advised via email, to which is attached a Tax Invoice/Funding Agreement. This Agreement lists general conditions of funding, and may have special conditions relevant to your project.

By signing and returning the Tax Invoice/Funding Agreement to Council you agree to abide by these conditions, and your payment will be processed. It is preferred that payment is by EFT to your nominated bank account.

Timelines

Given the urgent nature of support required, Council will treat applications as a priority.

It is expected that projects will commence as soon as practical once funds are received. If, for reasons outside of your control, the project will be delayed, you must advise Council as soon as possible via email resiliencegrants@basscoast.vic.gov.au
