Olive Justice Place

We recently asked you to tell us your ideas for Olive Justice Place in Cowes and how you would like to see this site used in the long term and immediate future.

Consultation for the project has now closed and we would like to thank everyone who submitted feedback during this period.

We received a fantastic community response during the consultation period through both the survey and written submissions.

This information and the responses received are now being used to inform a project brief and will assist in the development of concept plans for the site. These concept plans will go out for community consultation in the next few months, as part of a broader Cowes Streetscape Master Plan project.

The Cowes Streetscape Master Plan project seeks to build on the Cowes Activity Centre Plan 2015 to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Connect the Cowes township to the foreshore
  2. Re-create streets for people
  3. Reinvigorate the character of Cowes
  4. Connect the two ends of town, including Olive Justice Place and the Cowes Cultural and Community Centre

More information about this exciting project will be released shortly.
