Amendment C150

Amendment Proposal:

The Bass Coast Planning Scheme sets out the policies and requirements for the use, development and protection of land within Bass Coast Shire. From time to time, a need arises to change, or ‘amend’ a planning scheme. Planning Scheme Amendments can be changes to the maps, written text or incorporated documents of planning schemes.

Amendment C150 proposes to rezone part of 126 Shetland Heights Road San Remo from Low Density Residential Zone to General Residential Zone, and to delete the Significant Landscape Overlay Schedule 1 from land of the same. The Amendment is required to ensure that the most appropriate planning scheme provisions apply to the site.

Current Status:

The Panel Hearing for Amendment C150 has been scheduled to commence at 10.00am on Monday, 14 September 2020 and will run for three consecutive business days.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the Panel Hearing will take place via video conference. Panel Hearings are public and anyone is able to join the video conference to observe the Panel Hearing.

Should a Planning Panel Hearing be required for Amendment C150, the following tentative dates have been set aside:

Directions hearing – Friday 14 August 2020.
