You may need a Development Plan Application Form if one has not already been prepared for the land and you wish to use or subdivide, construct a building on, or construct or carry out works.

Development Plan Overlay, Schedule 3 (DPO3)

Council has received an application to amend the endorse development plan under Development Plan Overlay 3 (DPO3).

The proposed amendment relates specifically to the land at 1517-1529 Bass Highway, Grantville, 6-8 Grantville-Glen Alvie Road, Grantville and 10-12 Grantville-Glen Alvie Road, Grantville.

The application proposes to use the detail of the existing endorsed development plan and place it on two separate development plans. This will result in a development plan for the commercial land and another for residential land. The only notable change relates to the proposed residential development plan as it is proposed to include the land at 6-8 Grantville-Glen Alvie Road, Grantville and 10-12 Grantville-Glen Alvie Road, Grantville.

The reason for expanding the residential development plan is to improve site access via a public road (it was previously a narrow common property driveway), improve the overall layout of residential development and improve landscaping outcomes.

Council will consider the application for the endorsement of the Development Plan at a future Council Meeting.
