Planning Permit Register

The planning permit register provides information about planning permit applications and decisions in Bass Coast Shire as well as a status on where an application is up to in the process.

It is a requirement that we provide a register of all Statutory Planning permit applications under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 (Vic). We have also considered the Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic), Planning and Environment Regulations 2015, Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 to determine what information is included in the register.

It is important to understand your obligations under the these acts when collecting or handling information in the register.

The information in the register relates only to applications for planning permits that have been lodged with Council. It does not include information related to a proposed development that does not require a planning permit.

The register is only to be used for the sole purpose of obtaining information related to a town planning application. The register must not be used for any other purpose, shared with a third party or used for direct marketing.

If you require any information on an application that is not listed in the Planning Permit Register, please log a request to our Statutory Planning Team here.
