Bass Coast Shire Council’s Business Awards are back for 2021 – with all Bass Coast businesses encouraged to get involved.

Entries for the 2021 Bass Coast Business Awards are now open and close on Friday, 9 July at 5.00pm. Visit www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/businessawards to enter an application for the Awards.

This year there are six new categories in the Judged Awards, which provide participation opportunities for all of the different types of businesses in Bass Coast.

The categories are: Employment, diversity and inclusion, Marketing and communications, Environment and sustainability, Resilience, Leadership and Business innovation.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari, said Council would like to urge all Bass Coast businesses to have a go at entering the awards.

“After an incredibly challenging 2020, these Awards provide a great opportunity to stand back and assess your business operations and reflect on any successes,” Cr Tessari said.

“The Awards also provide Council with a way to celebrate all of Bass Coast’s businesses, big and small.”

On top of the Judged Awards, there is also the popular People's Choice Award.

This category allows customers to vote for the Bass Coast business that they believe provides the best products and services.

Customers can vote for their favourite business at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/businessawards. People’s Choice voting closes on Sunday, 1 August at 5.00pm.

Winners of the 2021 Awards will be announced at a Presentation Event Dinner on Friday, 3 September at Silverwater Resort in San Remo. Tickets will be on sale in coming weeks.
