Investing in our future: have your say on Long Term Financial Plan

Bass Coast Shire Council is giving the community an opportunity to provide feedback on its Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2021-2031.

The Draft Plan brings together feedback received through community engagement and sets out the forecast financial position for Council over the next ten years.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari said that he aim of the Long Term Financial Plan is to present a sound and comprehensive financial framework on which Council can base its financial decision making over the coming years.

“It includes an overview of Council’s projected forward revenue and expenditure estimates, including capital expenditure, financing and borrowings," Cr Tessari said.

“This provides a framework that underpins the affordability, funding and delivery of number of major projects over the next ten years,” Cr Tessari concluded.
