In partnership with Bass Coast Shire Council and Cowes Primary School, Bass Coast YMCA welcomes members and visitors to the Cowes Outdoor Pool to use both pools and outdoor area. Over the summer break, lap swimming and aqua play are offered.

The Cowes Outdoor Pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times. The 25 metre pool and toddler pool are open to Bass Coast YMCA members and casual visitors during December and January each year. We also have a small kiosk along with plenty of shaded areas for families to enjoy.

Opening day: Thursday 22 December 2022*

Closing day: Wednesday 25 January 2023

Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Times: Monday to Sunday 1 - 6 pm

We are open on days when the temperature is forecast to be 24 degrees* and above.

*Please note: Local forecast is based on Rhyll and is determined at 9 am on the day and posted daily on Facebook.

Everyone is welcome to use our pools for a casual entry fee.

**If you're a member at Phillip Island Leisure Centre or Bass Coast Aquatic and Leisure Centre, entrance to our pool is free, if membership was not suspended for the Summer.

**Gymnastics participants - not free as debit is suspended for Summer.
