Then this could be the opportunity for you!

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced customer service professionals to join our diverse and busy Customer and Visitor Experience team, working across various locations including Wonthaggi, Grantville, Inverloch, Cowes and remote working.

You will be the first point of contact for phone and face to face customer and visitor enquiries.

You will join a team who strive to exceed the expectations of our customers at any of the Council’s Offices and Visitor Information Centres.

No day is ever the same, with responsibilities including:

  • Provide frontline customer service, information and assistance to the general visiting public on a range of matters,
  • Process and action customer requests through our online Request Management System
  • Receipting, reconciling receipts and banking
  • Answering and responding to telephone enquiries with a focus of ‘customer at centre’.

What will make you stand out from the rest?

  • Availability to work across any of our Council Customer Service Centres and Visitor Information offices,
  • Proven experience in a fast paced, multi-faceted customer facing role.
  • Passion for providing excellence in customer service and visitor experience, and making a difference to the members of our community.
