We have an exciting opportunity for a community minded leader, who thinks strategically and has proven experience in recreation and culture. As one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria, Bass Coast Shire Council offers you an opportunity to develop your career in a challenging and exciting working environment.

As customer centric leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Council’s Recreation and Culture Team. This includes community education and engagement and delivery of recreation and culture services, as well as policy development and strategic planning.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong track record in people leadership, as well as experience in developing partnerships with community, key stakeholders, peak bodies and funding providers.

You will bring with you a tertiary qualification in recreation or a related field, or substantial experience in recreation and culture services within a Council context.
