Asset Officer Roads
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Asset Officer Roads to join our Asset Management team. The focus of the role is to coordinate the management of Council’s network of roads, bridges and related infrastructure. The role will work with a variety of teams to ensure that Council’s planning for new, expanded, and upgraded road assets is consistent with Council’s Road Services Asset Management Plan, and sound asset management principles. The role includes management of NHVR permits and responsibility for Council’s Road Management Plan.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing road management strategies and implementing works programs as well as tertiary or TAFE qualifications or equivalent practical experience in traffic, lighting, road, and other infrastructure maintenance, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
