'Having a Say' Conference 5-7 February 2018

 

Your chance to ‘Have a Say’

Are you a person living with disability or have an interest in disability issues? Would you or someone you know like to have a say about issues that affect people with a disability? If so, you can nominate to attend the ‘Having a Say 2018’ Conference.

The Conference is being held in Geelong from 5-7 February 2018. People with disability, carers, family members and other interested people can nominate for the opportunity to participate in the 2018 Conference and meet others from Australia and around the world. The Conference also gives participants the opportunity to ‘have a say’ about issues that affect them and develop strategies to address these issues.

Bass Coast Shire Council will sponsor two residents of the Shire to attend. 

To nominate,  download and complete a Nomination Form (PDF 188kb). If you or others require assistance to complete the Form, Nomination Forms are available on Council’s website or by contacting the Social & Community Planning Administration Officer, on 1300 BCOAST (226 278) or (03) 5671 2211 or email ruralaccess@basscoast.vic.gov.au. If you are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment, contact us through the National Relay Service on 13 36 77 or visit www.relayservice.gov.au for more information. Assistance to complete a Nomination Form can also be provided on request.

Nominations close at 2.00pm on Friday, 5 January 2018.
