The draft Waste Management Plan (PDF 650kb) will provide the framework for developing and implementing environmentally and economically sustainable waste management services.

The focus of the plan is to increase recovery of recyclable materials, reduce waste to landfill, and consider alternative waste technologies.

Public submissions have now closed, and we would like to thank those community members who made submissions. The final Plan will be presented to Council at its March meeting.
