Each commercial premises in Bass Coast Shire is entitled to one 240 litre bin for a weekly garbage collection and one 240 litre bin for a fortnightly recycling collection. Council provides a 120 litre garbage bin and a 240 litre recycling bin.

If you want a 240 litre garbage bin you must purchase a bin from Council. Bins currently cost $70 (GST and delivery included).

Over the summer holiday period between Christmas and the end of January there will be a weekly, rather than fortnightly collection of both garbage and recycling. The emptying of these bins is included in the garbage charge for all the properties within the serviced areas of the Shire.
