Bass Coast Shire Council now offers residents the option to change their garbage bin size and quantity. These changes attract a fee which will be charged to the applicable rateable property.

Residents can choose to:

  • Keep the current bins they have been issued – no change to service
  • Upgrade a 120 litre garbage bin to a 240 litre garbage bin – fees apply
  • Have a second recycle bin – fees apply
