The South Dudley Estate Special Charge Scheme Number 54 has been developed to seal the roads and improve drainage in South Dudley Estate. As a Special Charge Scheme it is a project where landowners in the scheme pay for some of the works by way of a special charge.

Update - December 2011

Council has awarded the contract for the construction of road and drainage works to Terrafirma Excavations Pty Ltd. Works have now commenced and are expected to be completed in September 2012, weather permitting.

How much will it cost?

• The total cost of the scheme is estimated at $2,695,492.77
• Total Council contribution is $1,140,645.88 towards the cost of the works.
• The amount to be recovered from landowners is $1,554,846.89.
