You can apply to change the zoning or overlay that applies to your land by submitting a request to amend the Bass Coast Planning Scheme. Our Strategic Planning team can assist with this process. Please note that it is a different process to that of a statutory planning permit.

In order for your application to be accepted by Council, an amendment application form must be filled in and supporting documentation is required which must be prepared by a Planning Consultant. The Amendment Application form (PDF 62kb) includes a checklist, which highlights any additional information that you may need to include.

This also applies to amendment applications that are combined with a Planning Permit application.

You should include as much information as possible to assist the Council's Strategic Planning Team to assess your application.
