Land Management Plan - do it yourself

Your planning permit may include a condition that requires you to submit a Land Management Plan to Council. This will need to be endorsed by Council as part of your planning permit application.

The terms land management planning, farm planning, whole farm planning and property planning are all used to describe a way of planning land use which considers a farm’s natural properties and hazards.

Our Planning and Environment teams have worked closely together to provide applicants with an informative Fact Sheet (PDF 291kb) and a Land Management Plan Template (PDF 196kb). With these tools you can develop your own Land Management Plan, or you can get a consultant to do it on your behalf.

For assistance and advice, please contact Council's Planning team on 1300 BCOAST (226 278).
