Planning Enforcement and Liaison is part of Council's Statutory Planning and Building Department.  The primary role is to investigate and monitor unauthorised development and business activities, and to monitor compliance of conditions of consent for approved development.

Council's Enforcement Officer is responsible for undertaking legal action on behalf of Council in accordance with Planning and Environment Act 1987.
