Paystay and Ticket Machines

Bass Coast Shire Council are now offering a new and convenient way to buy daily boat ramp tickets through an online payment system, PayStay.  Once registered with Paystay customers can buy daily boat ramp tickets for all of Bass Coast Boat Ramps electronically using the PayStay mobile app, or PayStay website, and a credit card at any time.

You are also able to register and purchase boat ramp tickets via PayStay from 6.00am to 9.00pm Monday through to Saturday by calling the PayStay Call Centre on 1300 322 111.

Upon purchase you do not receive a physical ticket; Council receive an immediate automatic update showing the ticket purchase.

Daily permits can also be purchased from machines located at Council's boat ramps at Cowes, Inverloch and Newhaven.   These machines will be removed from 30/6/2018 and we recommend setting up a Paystay account or purchasing a Monthly or Yearly permit.

The money raised from the permits will be used to improve recreational boating facilities across Bass Coast. If you have any suggestions about how these funds can be used, email

Where provided, vehicles parked in the boat ramp car parks must have a valid ticket/permit displayed in the windscreen. Fines do apply for failing to display a ticket/permit. For more information contact Council's Community Safety team on 1300 BCOAST (226 278).
