Aspirational Network Pathways Plan 2016

Every public pathway in Bass Coast is listed and categorised in accordance with the Road Management Plan in the Pathways Register.

Following community consultation Council has put together its Aspirational Pathways Plan to fill the gaps in pathways around Bass Coast. The Plan has identified 53 aspirational paths that have not been built, and are not currently on any work plans.

The Bass Coast Shire Aspirational Network Pathways Plan 2016 (A3 size PDF 6MB) shows an aspirational network of paths that provide strategic connections to and within settlements, incorporating:

  • Bass Valley Pathway Network
  • Phillip Island Pathway Network
  • Bass Coast Pathway Network
  • San Remo-Wonthaggi Pathway Network
  • Wonthaggi-Inverloch Pathway Network.

Paths included on these maps will be subject to future feasibility analysis and discussions with land managers, and therefore the alignments as shown are subject to change.

These paths will rejuvenate the gateway to Phillip Island, to enhance Bass Coast's stunning natural environment and bring to life a wide range of outdoor activities for the Bass Coast community and visitors to the region.
