National Volunteer Week (NVW) which this year runs from 14 - 20 May is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia. It provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you.

Bass Coast Shire Council volunteers have been invited to attend a morning tea at Archies on the Creek on Friday, 18 May 2012 where they will be thanked for providing vital services to the Bass Coast community.

Council has over 250 volunteers in a range of services including Visitor Information, Committees of Management and Aged and Disability services. Without the help of the volunteers we simply would not be able to deliver some of these services.
