Council’s community transport service provides a bus service for eligible Home and Community Care clients who are unable to access private or public transport because they are aged, frail or have a disability.
A community vehicle is also available to organisations who deliver services to the youth community (12–25 years of age), or to people with a disability.
When the community vehicles are not required by these groups they will be available for hire by local community groups within the municipality. The community vehicles are not available for use by for profit organisations, commercial organisations, individual use or for commercial use by any organisation. Hiring organisations need to supply their own licenced driver.
