Nine school crossings in Bass Coast are staffed by fully trained and qualified supervisors. These special people take their jobs very seriously, as the lives of our children are literally in their hands.
Regular training sessions ensure their skills are kept up-to-date, and they attend quarterly meetings to catch up with other supervisors, swap ideas and stories, discuss issues they may have.
If you would like to be part of this specialist team then contact the Community Safety Rangers Team Leader on 1300 BCOAST (226 278).
Check out School Crossings Victoria's website - a dedicated site for all the "lollypop" people. Further information is also available on the VicRoads website, including parent/carer education materials such as brochures which help schools, in partnership with local councils, improve the safety of children during school drop off and pick up times.
