The Hub will provide the Phillip Island community with quality integrated children’s facilities and services such as long day care, maternal and child health services, three and four year old kindergarten and allied health.
After many years of planning, construction of the Hub is now well underway on the Cowes Primary School site and is on track for completion by mid 2012.
The Hub is made possible with $2.2 million funding from Council and a grant of $1 million from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
UnitingCare Gippsland, the future Hub service operator, and service providers are working together to be ready to deliver services when the Hub opens.
Information about services to be offered at the Hub can be found on our Hub service information page or you can contact Tracey Gibson, Director – Performance and Innovation, at UnitingCare Gippsland on (03) 5662 5150.
More information on the Hub’s construction is available below, or you can contact our Community Strengthening Team on 1300 BCOAST (226 278).
