Local patient transport services

There are three patient transport services in Bass Coast to assist people to attend medical appointments. More information can be found in the Patient Transport brochure (PDF 360kb).

Melbourne Medical Companion Project

Volunteer companions are now available to go with you to and from your health care appointments in central Melbourne. The companions can meet you at either Flinders Street Station or Southern Cross train and bus terminals.

This service is offered free of charge to 30 June 2012.  You need to make a booking at least 24 hours before your expected travel date.

Inner Melbourne Hospital Map

A pocket sized, easy-to-use map showing inner Melbourne hospitals is available from our Customer Service Centres. The map also includes public transport options in Melbourne to get to those hospitals.
